The Peanut Butter Pops that almost weren't

I first tasted peanut butter balls at a friend's baby shower about a year ago. The most amazing confections I've ever tasted! I decided to make them for Gibson's birthday party because they are sooo much easier to make than the traditional cake pops! There is absolutely no baking involved, and you don't have to crumble cake and icing all over your hands! As long as you have a good food processor, you're good to go. I decided to make these into "pops" by inserting little wooden sticks because I think it makes them look much more fun!

Now, the reason I call them the Peanut Butter Pops That Almost Weren't is because of the problems I ran into with melting the chocolate. There were not one, but three different trips made to the grocery store! Grrr! So, a quick word of warning: Don't let your chocolate overheat and burn like I did twice! Slow and steady wins the race when it comes to melting chocolate.

One package of Nutter Butters (I use the knock off version), cream cheese, and white chocolate.

I use a food processor for this step. Love my Ninja!

Remember, slow and steady wins the race!

I garnished some of the "pops" with blue sprinkles, and the rest with crushed heath bar. You have to make these for your next gathering. They will change your life.

  2. Oops! I just updated the post. It's an entire package of Nutter Butters, but I like to use the knock off brand!
